Rice Roll

Facric rice tube: Make a fabric pillow form measurring 20 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. leaving one of the short ends open to put the rice in. Fill losely with rice and sew the end up. Crocheted outside covering: Using worsted wt 4 ply yarn and a size I crochet hook: Ch 91

Row 1) sc in 2ed ch from hook, and in each across,turn.

Row 2) Ch 2, Hdc in each sc across, turn

Row 3-18) ch2, hdc in each Hdc across, turn.Finish off at end of row 18

For Ladies rice roll:Attach trim color with a slst to short end, ch1,sc in same as joining. (ch 4 sc in 4th ch from hook) Picot made. sc, Make picot evenly across edge of work. DO THE SAME ON THE OTHER SHORT EDGE, finish off.

Place filled fabric tube in the middle of crocheted piece, fold sides around tube and sc through both thicknesses across. Finish off.

For ties: with trim color ch 60 cut thread leave tail to go through yarn needle. Weave chain at the end of fabric tube all the way around crocheted piece, Draw ends together tightly and tie ends in a bow.sew in ends of ch.

To use rice roll: Place Roll in the microwave for a few minutes, until Warm. place the roll on your shoulders to relieve aching muscles. Works great for other body parts as well.
